BEFORE
AFTER CLEANING

This is a what a computer looks like after being exposed to limerock mining for a few weeks. The environment this computer is in is airconditioned, doors always closed and with filter to keep the dust out. The grayish substance on the ide cables, pci cards, base of the computer etc. is limerock dust. You can see the difference after hours of cleaning. The computers were starting to fail due to overheating caused by the caked dust. Fans and power supply were replaced because the bearings were all worn out due to the dust. Zip drive became defective too. Same condition was also observed with the monitors failing due to the dust.

If such condition can happen to inanimate objects for a few weeks, what do you think will happen if we compare this to our lungs after 30 years of mining?
