POST- MINING ISSUES

RELATED INFORMATION

Or should I say - A NEW BEGINNING!

After all the dirt has been dug out, pockets of money in their purses. So what is left with the community – a gaping hole full of water and an ugly site to look with nothing growing in it except mosquitoes – its freshwater, right! It will take sometime for plants and trees to grow in that area. So how do we control mosquitoes? With what - pesticides in the water?

So what will this property be classified under? Too deep for aquaculture. Nobody will be allowed in that property for safety issue, if they’re claiming they will turn it into a fishing area. You can’t plant trees or put a house on it. Does the owner realize what they’re getting into? How will Northwood LLC pays property tax from this type of land with no income after 30 years? Or is the mining pay-off so much that they don’t really care about the land anymore or their successor!

Will the post-mining recovery be strictly implemented? Who’s going to pay for it? Is it in writing? You see how big corporations get out of the loop by filing for bankruptcy! I really don’t care that much anymore, after all damage has been done already!
