Update 10/07/2005 - Dickerson Florida Mine

Just got some info Via Mr. Phil Stickles (email dated 10/07/2005) from Mr. David Scott that Dickerson Florida Mine at Carlton Road is going to go ahead with the project for Carlton Road Mine, however there is no set date for submittal yet.

By the way, Dickerson Florida fired their old attorney and hired a new lawyer to represent them at the meetings!

Also, another source told me that Dickerson Florida Company is going back with a vengeance! Such an attitude toward the residents of the county who fought hard for their children's health, safety, quality of life and environmental protection! What are they trying to avenge?

LBFH, Inc. and Dickerson Florida, LLC is resurrecting the Carlton Road Mine!

Who wants to attend their meeting? We won't!

How can you face people who have NO WORDS OF HONOR!

After the fiasco, Commissioner Lewis assured all the people of Carlton & Glades Cutoff Road through Phil Stickles that "in her entire years serving as a commissioner, she has never changed her decision." Commissioner Craft even called LBFH, Inc. & Dickerson Florida and the latter confirmed they (LBFH & Dickerson) will not pursue the matter, that it has ended! Ms. Wendy of Dickerson Florida even said that Dickerson Florida will no longer pursue the issue. All they're asking in exchange for the refusal of Carlton road is for them to extend the hours at Indrio Mine, which they got!

So these two companies -LBFH, Inc. & Dickerson Florida, are here again, a bunch of liars! Right from Dr. Kriseman whose testimony is false about silicosis in Florida and the effect of dust . Just by standing and doing the video at their mine & road dust. I was sick for a week from the dust and my sinuses and lungs were full of mucus (no temperature elevation), The prescribed inhaler, decongestant nor vapor rub did not fix the problem. I had to sit, continuously for 48 hours in front of the water vaporiser to clear everything. It took a month to completely clear up. So this is just not about dust. This is about health problems to all the people living near the area. There are residents with children right across the street from this proposed mine. How inconsiderate Dickerson Florida and LBFH, Inc. The videos prove that the mine will be a major air pollutant among other factors! Larry Dale, stated "they want to be good neighbors", if they really want to be good neighbors, they should stop this non-sense! Larry Dale declared; "there's no more rock at Indrio road". Well, Stuart Mining proved that statement wrong!

NoRock was about to end the site a while back,but we got numerous request and links from other places to keep the site going. Then FPL came along, so might as well keep the site going!
