Acknowledgement from the webmistress

First of all, I would like to thank NSYNC DATA SYSTEMS, INC. for giving us the bandwidth, the gigabytes of space on their web server and hosting noRock.org for free.

Secondly, I would like to thank Aim Management Services, Inc. for supporting our cause and letting me use the computers, audio, visual, recording, other equipments and bandwidth which were used to create the website, documentation and video clips, mining hazard stickers. If not because of these modern technologies, I will still be probably in front of the drawing board, doing all the drawings by hand and typing articles manually.

Acknowledgement is not in order of importance:

I would like to thank Jay Meisel and Mitch Kloorfain from Hometown News for the coverage and publicity they have done while this mine proposal lingers, staying up until the meetings over and spending their spare time to do the “horse rally”. Also, thank you to Jim Reeder of Palm Beach Post.

Next, I would like to thank Craig Spengler for his suggestion of creating a website and naming it "noRock.Org”, doing all the Internic registration, all the legal paperwork to make this site visible to the public, as my Editor-in-Chief, assistant with video recordings, chauffer etc., Helping Phil do some of the leg work, helping me with the presentations submitted to St. Lucie County, being understanding, patient and just being there.

Next, I would like to thank Philip Stickles for the ten months of legwork he did at St. Lucie County Hall to champion our cause, the meeting flyers he contributed, the property he found, etc. The dedicated effort to reach our goal – to maintain peace and tranquility in the neighborhood.

Next, I would like to thank Jim & Jane Morgan for the help they did for us such as transportation, tours, organizing the “horse rally”, news information and suggestions.

Next, I would like to thank Richie Ader and Kathy Schoen for giving me moral support, as English is my second language. Richie said “Don’t think about the mistakes you made and what other people say. Look at the other side of the room, we are your friends”.

Special thanks to the Sherrod Family for the very nice outfit “NO ROCK PIT” T-shirts they made- the very best effort.

Special thanks to U.S.G.S., to Donna Kramer of SFWMD- archive division for quick and prompt assistance, to all the agencies, organizations, people etc. for posting almost all the information on the web, pictures, etc.The information they sent me. Norock.org would be empty with no information to disseminate.

Special thanks to Statcounter, Webstat, Addme for giving noRock.org free web statistics & to Quicktopic for the message board .

Almost last but not the least, thank you to all the residents of Glades Cutoff and Carlton Roads, to all the people who spoke at the P&Z and BOCC meetings supporting our cause, to Commissioners Doug Coward, Chris Craft and Paula Lewis supporting us with their votes, and to all the Commissioners who patiently listened to our arguments.

Most especially to my four-legged friend “Other-One” who patiently stayed by my side even until early dawn and not making any complaints.

Yours truly,

Nelly Spengler
