  • Letter - 07/01/2004 new proposed mining plan page one
  • Letter from Florida State Historical Resources Division page 1, page 2
  • Scanned - new proposed entrance/exit to the mine date 07/01/2004
200x, 600x, 1000x (dial up connection might take sometime to load)
1000x has better resolution, clearer when magnified.[ Use Netscape 7.+ or IE6.+
for better viewing. To AOL users, connect to AOL and launch netscape or IE
then type norock.org on the address bar of the browser.]
  • Visual Modflow plotted -extent of the dewatering effects to nearby areas
This is only phase one. No actual studies have been done to find the real effects for the 964 acre mine
  • New proposed 12 phases of the mine - 200x, 600x, 1000x
or download each section scanned and paste together: part1, part2, part3
  • who's who with the proposed mining
  • location of the proposed mining
  • new road proposed for the mine simulated scenario based on the plans & number of trucks, video taken from Indrio Pit and Miami quarry

Note: Don't be fooled by the new smaller phases as the effect will still be the same as the previous proposal. Same amount of dirt coming out in the end of each phase. Same amount of dust, same number of vehicles, same machineries to run the mining operation. As for the Paleo Hammock and Florida State Historical Division's unconcerned attitude toward the project read this opinion.
